Lets take a look at all the best and worst dressed looks from the 2012 Emmy Awards red carpet.
We may as well start with my favourite look. Well, the woman with the famous latino curves partnered up with superstar Lebanese fashion designer Zuhair Murad, famous for making lavish red carpet gowns that embrace curvy women. A match made in heaven. Yes, it’s a bit like the “Little Mermaid” but what’s not to love about a glamorous sexy mermaid in sequins?
I love that January Jones always takes a risk on the red carpet. I love this Zac Posen creation, its all about high drama.
Nicole Kidman looked exquisite in this Antonio Berardi gown, which was shown at London Fashion week just last week. Love the blue shoe that matches the sequin detail.
Julianne Moore makes a major statement in a canary yellow long-sleeve, full skirted gown by Christian Dior Couture by Raf Simons. I feel its just a bit too much yellow for my liking.
Claire Danes looks nice in yellow by Lanvin. Simple yet chic.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus looks regal and classy in a gown by Vera Wang.
Best comedy actress nominee Tina Fey is a red carpet stunner by Vivienne Westwood.
Kristen Wiig wears a lace tablecloth (ok its Balenciaga), but she looks way too casual. A chic up do and some better heels may have helped the situation.
Mad Men star Jessica Paré in a one shoulder gown by Jason Wu. She is so stunning that she could have worn a brown paper bag. Flawless makeup.
Emilia Clarke is elegant in a boroque-detailed white and deep violet gown by Chanel Couture. I love that she took a risk.
Allison Williams (star of my fav new show called ‘Girls’, made her red carpet debut in this emerald peplum gown by Oscar de la Renta. YUMMY!!
Lucy Liu wore some serious armor in this silver gown by Versace.
Ginnifer Goodwin took a fashion risk with this deep orange gown by Monique Lhullier. I love it, suits her perfectly and looked amazing on the carpet.
Julie Bowen not only won an Emmy but in the fashion stakes in a strapless body-con yellow gown by Monique Lhullier.
I love her in TV show ‘Girls’ but on the carpet she looked uncomfortable, Lena Dunham wore a lacy cap-sleeve Prada dress.
Julianne Hough wears a striking gown by Georges Hobeika. Lucky man that Ryan Seacrest.
Heidi Klum does a double ‘Angelina Jolie’ and tries to say “Seal Who?” in this gown by Parisian designer Alexandre Vauthier.
