A dress featuring 300 cupcakes has been created to mark National Cupcake Week.

Inspired by Marie Antoinette and designed by Janis Morrison, more than 300 purple, pink and red cupcakes were created.

Apart from the dress, the world’s most expensive cupcake was made (pictured below), costing an estimated £768.85, it contains Hawaiian AA tea, Chateau d’Yquem wine, Ritz Escoffier, Charbonnel et Walker chocolates and peach and champagne jam.

The cupcakes are partially covered with 24-carat edible gold leaf. Now that’s fancy!
