My top 5 moments at 2011 Australian Fashion Week

Australian Fashion Week is always an amazing time, so summing it up in just 5 points for my column was really hard. But this was the end result…

1.Best Catwalk Moment:

Supermodel Yasmin to Bon walking the catwalk for Little Joo Woman and congratulating long-time friend and designer Gail Elliott

2.Coolest Idea:

M.A.C. cosmetics offered lockers, so fashionistas had a safe haven to store goodie bags, a change of clothes or to change their sky-high heels for comfy flats.

3.Best Spot to People Watch:

The Rosemount Botanical’s Wino Bar was the epicentre of Fashion Week. Between shows fashionistas sipped on vino and picked on pizza, while checking out everyone’s outfit.

4.The Clever Cookie Award…

Goes to Party Feet who offered a free Party Feet product to any fashionista suffering from foot pain simply by tweeting out for help.

5.Craziest Catwalk Accessory:

Charlotte O’Carrigan showed as part of the TAFE graduates Innovators show. Her models wore shoes covered in plastic cockroaches.
