While on the topic of specs, The 2012 Specsavers Spectacle Wearer of the Year competition, is now underway to find Australia’s best framed fashionistas – with style icon and proud spec-wearer, Christina Hendricks from Mad Men, who was recently in Sydney to launch the competition.
The Specsavers competition celebrates the individual beauty and confidence of those who wear glasses. Everyone who loves glasses and enjoys wearing them with style and confidence, whether you need them or just wear them as a fashion accessory, is encouraged to enter for their chance to be crowned Australia’s most stylish spec wearer for 2012.
As well as judging the Specsavers competition, Ms Hendricks will personally mentor this year’s winner at a photo shoot in Los Angeles.
The winner of Specsavers Spectacle Wearer of the Year will receive a trip to Los Angeles and a 12 month modelling contract with SCOOP Model Management. The competition provides a great opportunity for gorgeous specs wearers to catch the eye of the modelling industry, and could help to fast-track their way to a successful career. The winner and finalists will each receive cash prizes as well as hair and makeup products from Wella and NP Set.
